Are you ready to hit the shops with a handmade tote?
With the right pattern, your chosen yarn and a bunch of enthusiasm we will create your very own colour change tote. It will look so good everyone will want one!
This workshop includes EVERYTHING you need to crochet your tote, and you get to choose your colour! We will even share a few tips to customise your bag to truly make it your own.
You’ll also get morning tea! With biscuits!
You may not finish crocheting on the day, but you will have a great recipe to be able to complete it on your own. If you wish you can stay as long as you like or come back for help on another day if you get stuck. We don’t think you will, though – you’re going to get really good at this.
We’ll start the morning at Little Shop For Yarners where you can browse the shop and get to know us. Then we’ll wander down the street to The Makers Corner where there is a bit more room to make our bags.

When: Saturday 12th August, 10am – 1.30pm

Craft: Crochet
Skill level: Confident beginner. You must know how to hold your yarn and hook, make a chain and crochet a stitch. It can be any stitch at all, as long as you know what to do. No fancy stitches are needed for this pattern.
Age level: 15 and over
Cost: $90 all inclusive
We will workshop until 1.30pm at which point you can choose to go home and finish or stay and finish. Follow up tutorial will be available if you need it.

“ReTwisst Chainy Cotton Cake” is a lightweight craft yarn made from new recycled fibers.
It’s perfect for crocheting and knitting projects – particularly bags and home accessories – and is also great for macrame. Compared to other conventional macrame cake yarns, it contains 80% cotton. Each roll weighs 250g and measures 250m in length, providing enough material to crochet or knit a surface of 70cm x 70cm.
